Sales Operations Coordinator – Manassas

Sigora Solar is Virginia's leading and fastest growing solar design and installation company with offices in Charlottesville, Richmond, Waynesboro, and Manassas. We are looking for a tech savvy Sales Operations Coordinator to join our Manassas based team.  The main focus of this position is to assist in creating new solar proposals for our residential clients along with other inside sales support tasks as required. These tasks include supporting our sales team members with design questions, maintaining our in-house CRM, accepting in-bound sales calls and setting appointments, generating new leads, following up with existing clients, and coordinating community events as needed.  This position offers a great opportunity to gain experience in the quickly growing solar field, using technology (especially Excel) while learning about emerging technologies used in the renewable field.

The focus of this job is on producing high quality, detailed work based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Precise, consistent work output is essential requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete one task at a time. The job environment is stable, based on known relationships with people and well-defined processes. Job knowledge and competency is built through structured step-by-step training and positive, supportive coaching from management and peers. Communication with others is based on knowledge of repetitive job routines and procedures gained from sufficient on the job experience. Sales Recruiter

This employee would report to our Director of Residential Sales and oversee recruitment, on-boarding, and training for our sales staff. The Sales Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of the recruiting and new hire process including recruiting candidates, interviewing, and ensuring all new sales hires have completed the proper training to be successful. Additionally, this team member will be responsible for developing and adapting the company’s recruiting process, forming relationships with schools and organizations to foster continuous recruiting, and work to improve the company’s overall on-boarding process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead company sales recruitment and onboarding to manage the sales hiring process across Virginia
  • Develop and continuously improve the company’s recruiting operations using in-person and online recruitment efforts; building relationships with schools and organizations to develop a reliable pipeline of new talent
  • Oversee developing and delivering training content to the sales team
  • Monitoring team performance and providing analysis to the Director of Residential Sales and CEO
  • Ensure that target hiring goals are met

  • Thorough background with direct outside sales, training, and operations

Warehouse Manager - Waynesboro

The Warehouse Manager will oversee sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory management and lead our warehouse team, while acting as a key liaison between our central Virginia solar company, our vendors, and our operations team to ensure alignment with inventory management and our strategic goals. The primary goal of this position is to strengthen our company’s inventory acquisition and logistics management processes to optimize forecast accuracy in a dynamic business environment. The ideal candidate will be hands on, have experience leading a warehouse / inventory team, implementing, creating and executing processes, and working with multiple third party manufacturing and fulfillment partners both domestically and internationally.  This position will be based out of our Waynesboro warehouse facility

Responsibilities 

  • Supporting the activities, suppliers, and vendors involved in product sourcing and procurement, purchasing, materials planning, production planning, inventory control, logistics and distribution to ensure customer orders are timely fulfilled and inventory goals are met.
  • Ensuring timely and proper communication with customers regarding installation scheduling issues; build effective relationships across our customers, partners and suppliers.
  • Working closely with other functions to drive overall supply chain improvements and efficiencies, while working across the company to drive overall customer satisfaction in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Supporting and refining the monthly metrics; by working to ensure a consistent process and deliver reporting of key performance indicators with our partners, suppliers and leadership team.
  • Leading our supply chain initiatives with a focus on product launch preparedness and execution, inventory, backorder and forecasting accuracy to evaluate performance versus goals and objectives.
  • Assisting in development of our supply chain strategy
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of solar/ PV experience required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
  • 2 + years management experience with emphasis on accountability for customer service level, inventory management, cost reduction and quality compliance
  • Demonstrated experience with supply chain process improvements including forecasting accuracy, passion for data analytics, service level orientation and inventory and cost optimization.
  • Ability to manage by influence across multiple teams within the company.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and working experience with forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issues
  • Understanding and execution of operational excellence and continuous improvement projects
  • Proven negotiation and problem resolution skills
  • Ability to think strategically and execute/problem solve tactical issues
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are a must

Warehouse Technician -  Waynesboro

We are looking for an intelligent, highly energetic, ambitious and hardworking Warehouse Technician who shares our passion for solar energy, sustainability and the environment. You will work with our Warehouse Manager, Construction Project Managers and Sales team to develop a bill of materials for each project and ensure that warehouse inventory is maintained. The Warehouse Technician will supply the installers with their daily inventory and will assist the Warehouse Manager in maintaining Sigora’s 12,000 square-foot headquarters in Waynesboro, VA. A successful candidate will take this position far beyond warehouse and inventory management into the realms of process improvement, schedule coordination, and new product research, testing, and procurement. This position requires a highly motivated and self-directed professional who can create and maintain order and procedures in areas where such framework does not currently exist.

Demonstrated logistical experience, including working with a forklift and pallet-jack, is required. Must have the ability to lift 75 pounds and to work with minimal guidance.  Starting pay is competitive with an opportunity for increase and advancement based on work performance and proven reliability.
