POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Warehouse & Inventory Manager will oversee sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory management and lead our warehouse team, while acting as a key liaison between our central Virginia solar company, our vendors, and our operations team to ensure alignment with inventory management and our strategic goals. The primary goal of this position is to strengthen our company’s inventory acquisition and logistics management processes to optimize forecast accuracy in a dynamic business environment. The ideal candidate will be hands on, have experience leading a warehouse / inventory team, implementing, creating and executing processes, and working with multiple third party manufacturing and fulfillment partners both domestically and internationally.  Preference will be given to candidates who are proficient in warehouse software programs such as Fishbowl and come to work with creative problem solving skills. This position will be based out of our Waynesboro warehouse facility and some travel will be required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • -Supporting the activities, suppliers, and vendors involved in product sourcing and procurement, purchasing, materials planning, production planning, inventory control, logistics and distribution to ensure customer orders are timely fulfilled and inventory goals are met.
  • -Ensuring timely and proper communication with customers regarding installation scheduling issues; build effective relationships across our customers, part, ers and suppliers.
  • -Working closely with other functions to drive overall supply chain improvements and efficiencies, while working across the company to drive overall customer satisfaction in a cost-efficient manner.
  • -Supporting and refining the monthly metrics; by working to ensure a consistent process and deliver reporting of key performance indicators with our partners, suppliers and leadership team.
  • -Leading our supply chain initiatives with a focus on product launch preparedness and execution, inventory, backorder and forecasting accuracy to evaluate performance versus goals and objectives.

REQUIREMENTS

  • -2+ years of solar/ PV experience required
  • -Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required
  • -2 + years management experience with emphasis on accountability for customer service level, inventory management, cost reduction and quality compliance
  • -Demonstrated experience with supply chain process improvements including forecasting accuracy, passion for data analytics, service level orientation and inventory and cost optimization.

Working under the supervision of the Director of the Department, the Permitting + Engineering Manager will be involved in nearly every project the Department takes on in some regard. This position is based in our Waynesboro, VA office. Primary and specific responsibilities are as follows:

Commercial Sales Executive

The Commercial Solar Analyst will report to the Director of Commercial Sales and will perform various tasks associated with commercial solar sales. This role will be responsible for generating leads, developing proposals/contracts, analyzing project financials, presenting sales materials, executing contracts, and performing many other technical sales related activities. While not a requirement, the ideal candidate will have experience working for a solar energy company or other technical product/service sales experience.  The ideal candidate must have experience with direct sales, business development, lead generation, and be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.

  • Ability to identify and generate B2B leads
  • Prequalify commercial clients for solar

    Permitting Assistant

     

    Sigora Solar, Virginia’s leading solar design and installation company, is looking for a full-time administrative professional to join our Department of Design + Engineering (D+E) as a Virginia Permitting Assistant. The mission of the Department of Design and Engineering is to provide every one of our customers with the most code-compliant and top performing solar system possible while maintaining economic responsibility via thoughtful design and proper equipment selection.

    Working under the supervision of the Permitting + Engineering Manager, the Permitting Assistant will be involved in nearly every project the department takes on in some regard. This position is based in our Waynesboro, VA office. Primary and specific responsibilities are as follows:

    • Assist in filling out permit applications
    • Assist in assembling documents into permit application packets
    • Serve as primary permit runner for jurisdictions that do not allow mailed in applications and coordinate with staff to ensure permits are submitted and picked up in a timely manner
    • Scan issued permits, upload to server, update in-house database and file hard-copies
    • Maintain records for accounting department of checks written to authorities having jurisdiction
    • Assist Permitting Coordinator with specific projects as requested
    • Other administrative duties as assigned by the Permitting + Engineering Manager

    Commercial Project Manager

     

    The Commercial Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short-term project, which has a beginning, an end, and specified deliverables. It is the Project Manager’s job to operate as the primary point of contact for all commercial customers from signing of contract through installation and activation of solar PV system. Below are some of the main duties:

    • Serve as the lead point of contact for all commercial solar customers
    • Ensure timely and successful delivery of products and services to meet and exceed customer expectations
    • Create post installation solar packets
    • Oversee customer system monitoring portals
    • Liaison between customers, sales, and project management teams
    • Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project
    • Assist in operational scheduling activities including commercial field verifications, installations, activations, inspections, and post-installation visits.
    • Perform document control to ensure proper data collection by sales team
    • Report field verification results to sales team
    • Notify sales team of any changes affecting customer system design
    • Assist sales and accounting department in customer invoice tracking
    • Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date and reported to appropriate internal staff

    Job Description

    Sigora Solar looking for an Electrician to join our North Carolina crew. The Sigora Solar Electrician will perform photovoltaic power system tie ins on residential and commercial projects, apply knowledge of NEC, be a resource for field operations to consult with regarding code requirements and AHJ expectations, and act as quality control for electrical work being done by field operations.  They will coordinate with various jurisdictions and utilities to ensure Sigora tie in methods are both up to code and acceptable to the utilities. Must be willing to work occasional weekends and overnight out of town. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

    • OSHA 10 or greater required
    • Journeyman license or greater required
    • 4-6 years or more experience electrical required
    • Commercial, electrical experience preferred
    • Valid state driver’s license in good standing required
