WAYNESBORO, Va. (NEWSPLEX) -- The main idea behind a new deal between Sigora Solar and Virginia Community Capital is to make it easier and less costly to make the switch to solar energy.
Sigora Solar is Virginia's largest solar provider and the company sees solar energy expanding in Central Virginia.
Logan Landry, CEO of Sigora Solar, sees these loans and interest rates as an amazing opportunity and believes it will encourage more businesses to choose solar energy in the future.
Downtown Crozet's newest building, Piedmont Place, has chosen Sigora Solar as its solar panel provider, installing 42 solar panels on the rooftop.
Solar panels installed by Sigora are guaranteed to last for 25 years, but Landry says they can end up lasting much longer than that.
With this new agreement and other things the company is working on, Landry fully expects business to more than double in 2017.
