Turner Pittkin

Having come from a background in marine biology and coastal resource management, I never pictured myself in a solar career.  I got my first taste of the impact solar can have on the island of American Samoa, when I was involved in a project to install more than 7,000 solar panels, producing about 20% of the island's total energy needs from clean, renewable energy.  Upon returning to my home state of Virginia, I was excited for the opportunity to work with Sigora Solar, a company that shares my values of environmental stewardship, community development, and innovation.  I'm proud to be a part of an ever changing industry with limitless opportunities, both here in Virginia and around the world.  When I'm out hiking and fishing in the mountains and rivers of the Shenandoah Valley, I love knowing that I'm helping others to achieve their own solar goals while fostering energy independence, economic opportunities, and preserving the natural world.
